First Stretch Goal Complete!
The first of our stretch goals is now complete with the release of the Imperia Enclave Toppers. These stackable variants of the Commune Enclave tiles are designed to nestle among the chaotic spires of the Hive City, hinting at the presence of more 'spacious', elevated districts.
The Imperia Enclave Toppers have been added to the Imperia Hive City set on MyMiniFactory, (currently private to KS backers only) and are available to all Dominion Tier backers and above.
Dividing tiles into sets is always a tricky process, and there are usually several valid ways to approach it. In the end, we decided to include both the Enclave Topper and Dark Age Topper stretch goals in the Imperia Hive City set.
Why include them there, and not in the Enclave set? Simply put, the toppers are more or less useless without the Hive City set, which includes the base and stacker system they’re designed to sit on. Including them here felt like the best way to ensure Imperia Hive City owners receive a more cohesive experience.
To access the new files, you’ll need to re-download the set. We know it can be a bit of a pain to re-download sets, but doing it this way helps prevent an overwhelming number of separate sets further down the line, something that would quickly become difficult for both us and future customers to manage. Our updated tile guides will always show you what’s currently included in each set and what’s still to come.
The Enclave Toppers have also been added to the web app. While the artwork is visually identical to the standard Enclave tiles, selecting one or the other allows you to specify exactly which tile appears in your list function, making it easier to organise your builds.
Work continues on the remaining stretch goals, with the Manufactory Ruins next in line for release.
That’s all for now
Keep it Hexy,
Dan & Jax
