Late Pledges: New Launch Window

Hope you’re all doing well! We’ve got a quick heads-up on late pledges and the MMF pledge manager.

Late Pledges Slightly Delayed - Here’s Why

We originally planned to launch late pledges on May 16th, but we’ve decided to delay by one week.

The reason? It comes down to the way MyMiniFactory handles add-ons. As it stands, backing via late pledge would give instant access to any item already in our store - including Campaign 1 content. That’s especially relevant for anyone choosing the Cross Sector Dominion or Omniversal Dominion tiers.

We think this wouldn’t be fair to our main campaign backers, since the pledge manager isn’t ready yet and they wouldn’t be able to access their rewards at the same time.

It also adds unnecessary complexity behind the scenes, so we’ve made the call to delay late pledges slightly while we get the pledge manager ready to launch alongside or just before late pledges go live.

The Silver Lining

The extra time has given us more room to focus on delivering the core Imperia Hexica files and things are looking good.
