Breach the Walls, Split the Earth!
I hope everyone had a great Easter! If you’re in the UK like me, you’ve just come off a four-day weekend, which is partly why this update’s landing a little later than usual.
But the campaign marches on - and it looks like we've smashed through £75,000, unlocking the Battlement Ruins!
These scorched and broken wall segments are the ruined counterparts to the Battlements set unlocked at £65K. Perfect for siege scenarios, breach points, or reinforcing the idea that nowhere is truly safe. You can use them to represent contested entry points, moments of breakthrough, or simply the wear and tear of long-fought wars.
While the latest goal was ticking over, we also wrapped up work on one of the most adaptable and scene-shaping sets in the range: The Chasm set.
This sprawling set is designed to create a branching network of fractures, tears, and war-torn rifts that stretch across your maps like a deep scar in the earth. They aren’t flashy centrepieces - but they’re one of the most satisfying sets to build around, adding structure, tension, and character to every layout.
It’s also the largest terrain set in Imperia Hexica, and includes an expansive range of connection types:
2-way, 3-way, 4-way, 5-way, and even 6-way connections allow you to weave chasms across your terrain in almost any direction.
Thematically, they’re versatile. Drop them in wilderness zones and they feel like ancient tectonic rifts - or place them near military structures and they suggest battle-wrought devastation, carved out by artillery, orbital strikes, or worse.
Whether you're carving up no-man’s-land or creating a natural barrier, Chasms add shape, tension, and depth to your maps.
We’re already closing in on the next stretch goal at £80,000 - and while we’ve had our fair share of ruins, this one marks a turning point. It’s bigger, heavier, and reaches into the very core of Imperia Hexica’s setting. If previous ruins hinted at collapse, this one suggests something far more monumental.
Less than 9 days left in the campaign now! Can we make it through all our planned stretch goals? Time will tell - but with your continued support (and a few shares), we just might.
Thanks again for being part of this journey -
Keep it hexy,
Dan & Jax
